There’s a new fibre arts business in town
located at 1600 Hanbury Road in Roberts Creek. They intend to produce custom-ordered blankets using responsibly-sourced fibres on heritage industrial equipment, and on July they gave a tour for the public, including many guild members. We saw
this ring-spun cotton being fed onto
this warping mill from 1899, which will supply warp for
this loom designed in the Victorian era and produced in the 1930’s.
Here is a warp beam loaded with denim yarn.
